Le Bain Soapery was started as an effort to understand my family's skin conditions. It began as extensive research into causes and remedies. What I found was commercially manufactured soaps and shampoos are made with very harsh chemicals to bypass the curing stage, in an effort to increase production speed.

I used every book, software, and article at my disposal to start producing my own soaps. Almost immediately my family's conditions started to diminish. Through continued use their skin was all but clear. I wanted to share this with friends, family, and members of my community.
